3 Dr. Seus pattern all in one cloth diapers. Brand: Bumpkins, Size: Small 6-12lbs (but think it could easily go up to 15lbs). Two are Cat in the Hat, and one is Green Eggs and Ham. All were only used a handful of times, two are in Excellent used condition, and one is in very good used condition because it has some very very light stains on the absorbent pad (the one that is opened up in the picture). They have a flap on the inside in case you need to add a doubler for extra absorbency but really they are plenty absorbent. They run $18+ brand new. How do I wash my Giggle Life diapers? If the outer cover is dark color, wash with like colors in cold water 2-3 times before use, as it will help to stop the color from bleeding. Soiled diapers: Simply remove the inserts from the pocket and flush away the soil (do not flush the insert). Put the cover and the inserts together in the washer. Washing the covers after each use is not necessary unless the cover has become soiled. Simply rinse the cover thoroughly with warm water and it can be reused a few more times before putting in the washer. Inserts can be pre-soaked in cold water for half an hour, before placed in a hot wash. Pre-soaking can help remove stains and discoloration. Drying your diaper: Line drying in direct sunlight is the best disinfectant to prevent diaper rash caused by bacteria. Tumble drying will make your diapers feel nice and soft but do not over dry the outer layer. Diaper Care: Use a detergent suitable for washing diapers, we recommend a residue free detergent. Any bleaching agents or whitening additives will cause damage to the waterproofing. Do not use fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency by coating the fabric. This coating can greatly decrease absorbency. Avoid using softening sheets in your dryer for the same reason. 4. Tips on how to stuff your Inserts to help Prevent Leaking Even the slightest bit of diaper fabric sticking outside of the cover can cause a surprising amount of leakage to occur quickly. If you have leaking issue, please check the following: If there are water droplets beading up on the surface of the diaper then your diapers need a few more washings in warm water using mild detergent before they are ready to use. Newborns wet their diapers often because they have very tiny bladders, so you will require diaper change in every 1-2 hours. Frequent leakage may be related to insufficient changing. Some infants urinate frequently and are heavy wetters. It is possible that a large amount of urine at one time will cause leakage through the diaper. Baby boys most often require thicker lining in the front, as fluid tends to flow upward. Make sure not to cover the tummy or navel (or umbilicus). Baby girls often need extra padding at the back. This can slow down the urine stream so that the diaper has a chance to absorb properly.
